Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its debut season, and became America's Sweetheart. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront as it also secured her a deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. In the years since, she's made several studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly fell short of the top spot. Her name is regarded as one of the greatest success American Idol artists. After achieving success, she experimented with different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs with her personal feelings. Due to her uniqueness and skill as a performer, she was praised by the media and received a number of prestigious prizes. Her most notable achievement was that she received three Grammy Awards. Apart from her professional career as a musician, she's appeared on television and film. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charities.
