Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager as she entered her teens. The acting career of Meagan Good began around age four. She grew up in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. She worked as an additional to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. as she began her career. At the age of 13, she starred in her debut film Friday. In 1997, she gained attention for her character in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenage girl. Her debut N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominated. Good was first seen in tiny roles in films and television for a couple of years after which she moved on to mature roles by the beginning 2000s. She appeared as Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. She appeared as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. series Cousin SKeeter, from 1998 to 2001. Also, she landed minor parts on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the movies House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She was as a character in D.E.B.S (2004) which was a comedy action film. The movie won her the award of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. In the following years, she was in films like You Got Served The Cookout as well as Venom One Missed, call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. In 2012, while doing work in T.V. Film roles included Mya (in the Think Like a Man, starring a number of actors) as well as the character of Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). Her acting career began in the year 2010 when she starred in the web-series Simon Fuller's If I Can Dream. After starring in numerous local shows, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in in the pilot episode in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. This reality series revolves around a troupe of actors that move into a Hollywood California house.
